Spring Special: Dog Friendly Mocktails
It's cocktail season! As the temperature increases, so too does our inclination for a refreshing spring cocktail, but we didn't want our doggos to feel left out so we've been in the kitchen testing out some refreshing pup-friendly mocktails! You'll find most of these ingredients in your fridge or pantry — all you'll need is a blender to whip up these tasty concoctions.
Watermelon Pina Colada
(1-3 servings depending on the size of your dog)
Ingredients
- 1 cup frozen watermelon
- 2 tbsp light coconut milk
Frozen Strawberry Daquiri
(1-3 servings depending on the size of your dog)
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup frozen strawberries
- 1/4 cup coconut water
- 1tsp plain greek yoghurt
Mixed Berry Mojito
(1-3 servings depending on the size of your dog)
Ingredients
- Lightly sparkling water (ensure it contains no additives)
- 3 strawberries cut in half
- 10 blueberries
Dirty Banana
(1-3 servings depending on the size of your dog)
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup frozen banana slices
- 2 tsp plain Greek yoghurt
- 1/4 cup lactose free milk
Disclaimer: For some dogs who have a sensitive stomach, this recipe may upset their tummies despite being lactose free. We suggest replacing milk with water or coconut water. If ever in doubt, or for specific advice for your pup, please contact your vet.
