'Bourke St. Bites' - Dog Biscuit Recipe
Looking to shake up your usual cooking routine?! Well, our 'Bourke St. Bites' are guaranteed to impress your pooch. These tasty treats have been tried and tested by our office pups and they definitely approve! They are simple to make and your dogs will love them:
Ingredients
2 cups wholemeal flour
2 tbsp canola oil
2/3 cup semolina or cornmeal
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup milk
1 tbsp powdered beef stock
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
Canola spray
Method
1. Preheat oven to 200°C
2. Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl
3. Mix with a spoon until the mixture becomes a dough – you may need to add a little more flour/semolina to make it more pliable
4. Roll out onto a floured surface and cut into shapes with a knife or cookie cutter
5. Place onto baking trays sprayed with canola oil. When the biscuits are laid out, spray canola oil across the top of each
6. Bake in oven for 10-15 minutes, then cool on bench or wire rack

Storage
These can be stored in an airtight contained for one week, or in the freezer for up to two months.
